Aurora Cannabis Inc. is currently recruiting for a Quality Assurance Integrations Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be required to have some flexibility in their schedule to meet the needs of this role. The incumbent will report directly to the Corporate Quality Assurance Manager, Integrations and Special Projects in Calgary, and will be responsible for the following:



  • Assist in elevating newly integrated companies and business partners to Aurora’s level of compliance with respect to industry standards and regulatory requirements; provides support and completes projects as required
  • Reports to Corporate Quality Assurance Manager, Integrations and Special Projects
  • Knowledge resource for Cannabis Regulations and other pertinent regulations
  • Work with QA Audit team by recommending process improvements, policy and procedure revisions, and corrective actions to address audit findings in regard to integrations projects
  • Ensure compliance through comparison of current practice to regulations and Aurora's quality systems
  • Participate in the development of quality and production process flows for the optimization of product manufacturing in adherence to strict quality standards
  • Provide guidance to newly integrated companies or business partners with respect to GPP, GDP, and GMP
  • Build and maintain good working relationships with newly integrated companies or business partners to promote openness and compliance
  • Produce descriptive and detailed reports
  • Expectation to manage time effectively and maintain organization while managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
  • Arrange internal and external meetings; conference calls; coordinate travel arrangements
  • Take and prepare meeting notes, minutes, and other records
  • Write technical documents (SOPs, protocols, technical data sheets, etc.)
  • Collaborate with Department Heads to complete documents by providing coaching and ongoing support to ensure all changes align with GMP and Cannabis Regulations
  • Understand and follow all related SOPs and procedures to GMP standards
  • Complete all documentation using good documentation practices



  • 1-2 years previous experience in a Quality Assurance, Quality Control, or Regulatory Affairs role in Food/Food Processing, Pharmaceutical, or Health and Nutritional industry
  • B.Sc. degree or diploma in an applicable science-related field required
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Cannabis Regulations and other pertinent regulations
  • Competency of technological writing (SOPs) and problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to travel and work with many different people in various environments
  • Ability to multitask and adapt to an evolving environment with changing priorities
  • Ability to effectively communicate and cultivate strong relationships with other departments
  • Fluency in MS Office is required
  • Ability to work independently with a strong attention to detail
  • Effective verbal and written communication in English
