Reporting directly to the Brand Manager, the Assistant Brand Manager, will be responsible for assisting with developing Aurora’s overarching domestic and international medical marketing strategy for all medical brands through the use of marketing platforms and in all relevant geographies.



  • In collaboration with the Brand Manager, you will:
  • Support product development strategies and execution of new brands to the medical market
  • Manage and execute on all go-to-market activities for new product launches
  • Liaise with internal divisions to identify and optimize incremental revenue opportunities tied to medical marketing initiatives
  • Ensure that all brand assets and material produced meet regulatory compliance standards
  • Partners with market research team to conduct patient engagement surveys to help inform positioning, creative, and overall patient satisfaction
  • Work closely with graphic designer to bring brands to life across all channels such as website, email, social media, print, packaging etc.
  • Collaborate with Direct Medical Sales Manager and Direct Medical Sales Specialist on marketing initiatives and provide support where necessary
  • Assist other team members with developing strong partnerships with local health care providers to further increase brand awareness
  • Monitor and track performance and adjust plans accordingly to ensure delivery of business commitments
  • Manage and collaborate with various agencies – creative, print, merchandise etc.
  • Maintain brand budgets and marketing resources
  • Ensure a world and industry leading presence around social responsibility and compliance


  • Understands medical marketing in highly regulated frameworks and how to differentiate product and brand to drive market share within these frameworks
  • Experience working within a multinational organization
  • Experience creating and executing marketing plans
  • Experience managing brands and executing on brand-enhancing initiatives
  • Strong digital marketing experience including a proven track record of success in email marketing, content development, and using market segmentation to drive results is an asset
  • Strong analytical and project management skills
  • Ability to create and execute integrated marketing strategies across various geographies
  • Experience working in foreign markets is an asset
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to independently manage multiple projects and internal clients with changing priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic, deadline-driven, high stakes environment
  • Ability to work with senior management and partner with business leaders and department peers


  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field; preference will be given to applicants with a Master’s Degree
  • A minimum of 4+ years experience in marketing, brand/portfolio management, sales and/or strategy business experience, preferably in manufacturing or pharmaceutical industries
