We’re searching for two motived professional to join our team as Operations Maintenance Technicians. In this role, you will report into the Manager, Site and Facilities and be responsible for overseeing efficient and safe operations and the maintenance of our Bradford Facility. We are looking to hire two professionals for this role covering different schedules. This role will provide coverage for evenings and weekends.
As the Operations Maintenance Technician you will…
- Support the daily operation and basic upkeep of our Natural Gas Generation Station and its surrounding areas
- Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and perform some basic maintenance of the CoGen stations
- Maintain all applicable records, logs, reports as set out by both internal and external sources
- Monitor and report out on the BAS (Priva) daily
- Operate the BAS control systems to assist in the daily schedules of the facility and outside contractor groups as needed
- Ensure daily monitoring and problems are discovered before they become larger issues
- Navigate mech and elect drawings and technical manuals and maintain logbooks, maintenance forms and complete CMMS entries daily
- Produce reports, records of information related to operational, maintenance and safety activities in the BAS and Power Generation systems
- Act as first responder in the event of problems with both our BAS and our CoGen and address general alarms/trips from the plant and take appropriate action
- Support the system via a remote-control centre such as a laptop as required
- Assist in coordinating the activities of external service providers and support environmental awareness by eliminating, reducing and cleaning all incidents
- Participate in meetings, professional development training and all departmental orientation programs as assigned

You will be setup for success if you have…
- 3 + years of relevant BAS experience in a similar environment as Aurora
- 2 + years of relevant experience in power generation or facility operations
- Strong knowledge of general maintenance practices, engines, generators, and related equipment and experience with Jenbacher, Waukesha, and Cat stations is considered an asset
- Proficient computer skills with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues with maintenance equipment and provide hands-on operational support
