Coordinator, Packaging

Reporting to the Manager, Packaging, the Packaging Coordinator will be working out of our Bradford facility and work in collaboration with other departments to coordinator packaging schedules. The Packaging Coordinator will also be responsible for the cleanliness and organization of the Packaging room.  
 

Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Working with other departments to coordinate packaging schedules
  • Maintaining accurate inventory records and adjusting values as needed
  • Determining daily requirements in packaging and ensuring orders are completed on time
  • Maintaining a positive working environment and delegating packaging responsibilities
  • Inspect packaging and products to guarantee they are free of flaws and packaged correctly
  • Responsible for maintaining the organization and cleanliness of the Packaging room while performing all duties
  • Where applicable, must adhere to MedReleaf’s SOPs and comply with Health Canada’s Access to Cannabis for Medical Purposes Regulations (ACMPR). In addition, must adhere to ISO 9001:2015 (Quality Management System), ISO 14001 (Environment Management System) and OHSAS 18001 (Occupational Health and Safety Assessment Series).
  • Where applicable, promote and maintain GMP requirements. 
  • Other duties as required

     

Working Conditions:

  • Physical effort is required, lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 30 lbs.
  • Ability to work weekends, holidays and after hours as required.
  • Repetitive use of hands, wrists and forearms.
  • Comfortable working with step ladders (i.e. two step ladder/single sided step ladder).
     

Job Requirements:

  • Previous experience packaging cannabis as per ACMPR regulations
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to achieve objectives, as well as prioritize tasks.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Intermediate to excellent computer skills in MS Office
