COORDINATOR, PACKAGING SCHEDULE

 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Liaise between Planning and Operations to ensure schedule targets are met
  • Verify preparedness of product for transfer or further processing
  • Ensure raw materials are ordered, received and released by QC
  • Work with Procurement to ensure labels are ordered in a timely manner
  • Ensure that necessary CofA & CofM are complete and product is released
  • Monitor Schedule adherence
  • Identify/resolve bottleneck issues and predict next potential bottleneck within the schedule
  • Where applicable, must adhere to Aurora's SOPs and comply with Health Canada’s Cannabis Act. In addition, must adhere to ISO 9001:2008 (Quality Management System), ISO 14001 (Environment Management System) and OHSAS 18001 (Occupational Health and Safety Assessment Series)
  • Where applicable, promote and maintain GMP requirements.
  • Other duties as required
     

WORKING CONDITIONS:

 

  • Physical effort is required, lifting, pushing, and/or pulling up to 30 lbs
  • Working environmental conditions range from 20 to 28 degrees Celsius
  • Ability to work weekends, holidays and after hours as required.
  • Manual dexterity required, confidence and comfort working with high pressure equipment

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

  • Previous experience in a processing environment in a relevant industry, including: food, health care, pharmaceuticals, etc.
  • Experience working in a GMP environment is preferred
  • Must be able to wear Proper PPE (jump suits, safety glasses, hair nets, etc.)
  • Ability to handle stress while performing multiple tasks.
  • Must have ability to work independently and within a team environment
  • Close attention to detail
  • Must have the ability to multi-task, coupled with a sound mechanical aptitude.
  • Excellent organizational skills, communication and problem solving skills.
  • Intermediate to excellent computer skills in MS Office
  • Excellent time management, leadership, decision making, and interpersonal skills.
