  • Assist the project team in the direction and planning of all aspects of a project including: project scheduling, logistics, quality control, subcontractors and project staffing levels 

  • Assist with discussions and meetings with subcontractors, vendors, customers and management when required  

  • Assist with project policies and procedures, establish project control systems and implement project execution plans 

  • Assist in data and file compilation for internal client databases 

  • Review and collaborate to resolve concerns regarding issues and performance of the project 

  • Liaise with project stakeholders to collect requirements and maintain effective communication 

  • Support in the maintenance and monitoring of project plans, project schedules, work hours, budgets and expenditures. 

  • Organizing, attending and participating in stakeholder meetings 

  • Documenting and following up on important actions and decisions from meetings 

  • Preparing necessary presentation materials for meetings 

  • Ensuring project deadlines are met 

  • Providing administrative support as needed 

  • Undertaking project tasks as required 

  • Developing project strategies 

  • Ensuring projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project 

  • Assess project risks and issues and collaborate provide solutions where applicable 

  • Ensure stakeholder views are managed towards the best solution 

  • Assist in developing and maintaining project management calendars for fulfilling each goal and objective. 



  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 

  • Ability to work effectively with clients and all stakeholders for successful project completion

  • Currently enrolled as a third or fourth year full-time undergraduate student in an accredited post-secondary engineering or sciences program  

  • Have a minimum average of 70% cumulative GPA. 

  • Be returning to full-time studies in the same program following the completion of the work term OR require the work term or co-op placement to graduate. 

  • Strong knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Project, and Outlook)
