Job Summary:

Aurora Cannabis Inc. is currently recruiting for a Quality Assurance Auditor to join our River Facility (Bradford, On). The incumbent will report directly to the Quality Assurance Supervisor and will be responsible for the following.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Promote positive safety culture through participation and adherence to HSE programs
  • Promote positive working relationships with all departments
  • Act as an ambassador for regulatory and process compliance
  • Participate in self-inspection process
  • Verify fulfilled orders, including label verification or other defined characteristics
  • Verify product net weight
  • Create master labels, and verify actual labels against them
  • Perform/verify required line clearances during manufacturing operations
  • Verify electronic Cannabis inventory records via statistical inventory sampling
  • Perform on floor auditing of records including sanitation, log books, and records
  • Use of label controls such as hold, rejected, quarantine, released/approved
  • Participate in Self Inspection Process and Internal Audit Program
  • Utilize company SOPs and receiving controls to manage incoming controlled materials
  • Assist in ensuring GMP and Health Canada compliance throughout the facility
  • Actively and proactively engage in the ongoing management and improve of the QMS
  • Support the development and writing of compliant SOPs for Quality processes
  • Assist with conducting investigations regarding deviations or complaints, including gathering of data, and identification of root cause
  • Provide guidance to manufacturing with respect to GPP, GDP, and GMP
  • Build and maintain good working relationships with manufacturing to promote openness and compliance
  • Ability to work weekends as required to support operational requirements
  • Other duties as required

 

Education:

  • 1-3 years of experience in a similar, autonomous, inspection or auditing role
  • Highschool diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Quality experience in a regulated manufacturing environment
  • Requires use of computer, Microsoft programs, SAGE, and eQMS programs
  • Degree or certificate in a science-related field preferred

 

Working Conditions

  • Able to work with various cannabis strains
  • Able to lift/push/pull up to 50lbs
  • Able to wear N95/Respirator
