Aurora Cannabis Inc. is currently recruiting for a Quality Assurance Training Associate to join our team. The successful candidate will be required to have some flexibility in their schedule to meet the needs of the facility. The incumbent will report directly to the Quality Assurance Manager at Bradford, and will be responsible for the following:


  • Lead and manage the QA Training Program at Bradford
  • Organizing and presenting QA Training sessions, tracking and inputting training records, identifying training deficiencies
  • Represent QA as an ambassador for the Cannabis Act regulatory compliance, GMP and company SOPs
  • Continuous Improvement, Implementation, and Training of quality procedures
  • Work with Human Resources, Safety, and other stakeholders to ensure QA training compliance
  • Lead and support Bradford’s competency assessment program and maintain training files
  • Conduct training sessions for production staff related to SOPs and general operational procedures (GMP/GPP/GDP)
  • Responsible for compiling and tracking metrics around staff training and recommend measures to improve productivity and compliance
  • Work closely with production to ensure compliance is maintained
  • Assist manufacturing in planning and initiating staff training sessions
  • Assist manufacturing in SOP roll out and training required
  • Assist QA Manager as required with training and oversight of facility compliance
  • Support Edible QA Manager with training initiatives that are required
  • Support Markham site on training initiative (when required)
  • Other duties as assigned




  • 3-5 years' experience in the Quality Assurance Field
  • Degree or diploma in a science related field
  • Experience working in a regulated environment, pharmaceuticals, or natural health product manufacturing environment is preferred
  • Understanding of Quality Management Systems including: batch record review, batch release, document control, change control, deviations, investigations and CAPA
  • Fluency in MS Office is mandatory
  • Competency of technological writing (SOPs, Annual Reports, Investigation Summary)
  • Ability to work independently, with a strong attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and adapt to an evolving environment
  • Ability to both speak and write clearly in English
