GMP COMMISSIONING SPECIALIST

 

Aurora Larssen Projects Inc. is currently recruiting for a GMP Specialist to join our Commissioning team. The ideal candidate must be willing to travel around the world, although the majority will be within North America.

 

 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITES:

 

  • Be part of a team to facilitate transition from substantial construction completion to operational handover.
  • Liaise between Project Managers, Site Operations, Contractors and Commissioning team.
  • Communicate with contractors to observe commissioning needs & progress.
  • Produce and facilitate completion of IVCs, IQOQ, and participate in PQ activities.
  • Manage daily workflow and assist PM with balancing staff resources.
  • Build relationships with OEM vendors and site staff including training and onsite support.
  • Document and provide all validation of the system before release to the owner/operator.
  • Ensure OEM provided documentation is complete.
  • Perform field walk downs to verify status of facilities against documented plans.
  • Observe that deliverables meet the quality objectives of the project and are GMP compliant.
  • Identify, assess and initiate changes to approved design, work scope, budgets and schedules following applicable change control processes.
  • Travel to external suppliers, as required, to participate in FAT and evaluate GMP compliance
  • Travel to client sites to assist with the commissioning of systems.
  • Other duties as required.

 

 

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

 

  • Above average knowledge of Microsoft Office (i.e Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
  • Ability to establish excellent business relationships with key suppliers, clients, business associates and stakeholders.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and use time effectively to set action plans to achieve business targets.
  • Ability to create a positive, safe and productive team atmosphere.
  • Highly organized and able to balance many ongoing tasks at once.
  • Experience at responding to complex and stressful situations and resolving issues positively.
  • High degree of ability to think strategically and problem solve.
  • Able to follow and uphold standard operating procedures precisely and consistently; detail oriented.
  • Accountable for results, strives to meet and exceed expectations.
  • Operations excellence and continuous improvement oriented.
  • Ability to sort, prioritize, retain and analyze information.

 

EXPERIENCE:

 

  • Greater than 5 years of experience in a similar or related role
  • Experienced working in regulated environments with extensive process controls

 

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science/Engineering or equivalent related experience
