Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Supports the Lead Cultivator and performs management duties when the Lead Cultivator is absent or out of office
  • Manages inventories and stock, including keeping detailed records of inventory use and order when necessary
  • Liaising with management to formulate clear team goals
  • Monitor and record team performance
  • Communicates deadlines and goals to shift leads
  • Oversee day-to-day operation and organize workflow to meet specifications and deadlines
  • Review and summarizes the shift leads, mother room and propagation room reports
  • Assists management with hiring processes and new team member training
  • Create schedules for employees
  • Verify employee`s attendance, leaves and disciplinary issues
  • Carrying out performance reviews
  • Provide training, leadership, and guidance to Propagation/Production shift leads
  • Assist with conflict resolution within the teams
  • Develop strategies to promote team member adherence to company regulations and performance goals
  • Conduct team meetings to update members on best practices and continuing expectations
  • Generate and share comprehensive and detailed reports about team performance, mission-related objectives, and deadlines
  • Ensures company working spaces meet and exceed company presentation standards
  • Report problems or concerns with quality, processes, equipment, materials and labor to Lead Cultivator
  • Work closely with support staff such as Technicians, Manufacturing, Production, Buyer, Materials/Warehouse to resolve issues
  • Complete required documentation relating to business or regulatory requirements (e.g. deviation, change control, batch record, room log book)

 

Qualifications:

  • Experience in a manufacturing or pharmaceutical environment is considered an asset
  • Flexibility with task management
  • Familiar with a variety of Purchasing concepts, practices and procedures
  • Strong organizational skills including effective prioritization and follow-up
  • ‪Ability to analyze problems and provide solutions
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task effectively and work well under pressure and tight timelines
  • Ability to deal with confidential information with a high degree of diplomacy
  • Ability to work well as part of a team and foster an open and friendly working environment
  • Ability to supervise a team of individuals and address any areas of concern with respect to performance or processes
