QUALITY ASSURANCE ADMINISTRATOR, MOUNTAIN

 

Aurora Cannabis Inc. is currently recruiting for a Quality Assurance Administrator to join our team. The incumbent will report directly to the Quality Assurance Manager at site, and will be responsible for the following:

 

DUTIES:

 

  • Support the Document control person in updating and maintaining SOP binders
  • Periodical audit completed Batch records to ensure complete documentation.
  • Assist with the filing of quality assurance documents.
  • Prepares meeting agendas, minutes, memos, and other documents. Support with meeting, travel (accommodation, flights, vehicles, etc.) and other arrangements Assists with internal and external communication efforts: organizes and coordinates special events and projects. Follows through on internal and external communication with a commitment to accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Troubleshoot and serve as primary contact with other departments on administrative related needs and requests.
  • Coordinate Quality Assurance requirements for material and finished products transfers (ensure that all required documentation is readily produced, and complete documentation is received from transfer sites)
  • Complete data entry for destruction record entries and other items as assigned.
  • Assist with the implementation and continuous improvement of quality procedures.
  • Work closely with quality assurance team to ensure compliance is maintained.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • 3+ years’ experience in an Administrator role
  • General knowledge or experience in the Quality Assurance Field
  • Experience working in a regulated environment, pharmaceuticals, or natural health product manufacturing environment is an asset
  • Familiar with using office equipment such as photocopier, scanner, etc.
  • Knowledge of filing systems
  • Familiar with using Microsoft Office – Word, Excel etc.
  • Excellent communication skills, both in oral and written
  • Ability to work independently, with a strong attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and adapt to an evolving environment
  • Ability to both speak and write clearly in English
  • Familiar with technological writing (SOPs, Annual Reports, Investigation Summary)
  • Understanding of Quality Management Systems including: batch record review, batch release, document control, change control, deviations, investigations and CAP
  • This position involves significant exposure to cannabis/plant materials, and it is therefore not likely suitable for an employee that may suffer from allergies to cannabis/plant pollen material, or experience other medical issues, such as asthma and hay fever, as a result of cannabis/plant material exposure
