QUALITY ASSURANCE FACILITY & EQUIPMENT ADMINISTRATOR

 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for scheduling and monitoring calibration and preventative maintenance of equipment and facilities
  • Manage equipment and facilities calibration and preventative maintenance database
  • Guide and assist department managers with respect to correct equipment performance
  • Prepare and execute protocols for process/equipment validation and qualification
  • Make accurate assessments of failures to assess impact on suitability
  • Assess root cause to address CAPA to ensure continuous improvement
  • Design and implement an appropriate Environmental Monitoring Program
  • Conduct environmental monitoring processes and track results

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Diploma or a degree in a science related field (Chemistry, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Horticulture, Food Science)
  • 3-5 years’ experience in Quality Assurance (preferably in a Pharmaceutical or Natural Health Product manufacturing environment)
  • Understand QMS; including validation, environmental controls, document control, change control, deviations, CAPA, and quality investigations
  • Fluency in Microsoft office programs
  • Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail
  • Collaborate with production while ensuring that compliance is maintained
  • Competent in technical writing; SOPs, annual reports, investigation summaries
  • Experience with automated, robotic systems considered an asset
