DATA ENTRY ADMINISTRATOR (HUMAN RESOURCES)

 

Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, this Data Entry Administrator will be will be responsible for managing all employee data within our Human Resources Information System (HRIS). This Administrator will be the main point of contact between the human resources team and payroll team and will ensure payroll has all required data in an organized and timely manner. The ideal candidate will be system savvy, have strong time management skills and will be highly organized with a keen eye for detail.

 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Initiate onboarding tasks within our HRIS and ensure all new hire paperwork is completed 2-3 days prior to the employees first day
  • Coordinate with payroll to ensure all new hourly employees have been issued payroll ID’s prior to their start date
  • Responsible for coordinating equipment needs with our IT department and following up to ensure items are in place prior to the employees first day
  • Maintain accurate data input into the HRIS
  • Maintain records of personnel-related data (manual and electronic) and ensure all employment requirements are met
  • Enter all master file changes - promotions, transfers, terminations etc. and ensure information is given to payroll within a timely manner
  • Other duties as required

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Organized, resourceful and efficient with outstanding attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability in time management and results driven, able to meet tight deadlines
  • High degree of thoroughness and discretion in dealing with confidential information
  • Proficient in the use of computer software – advanced typing and data entry skills
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
  • Ability to adapt to a fast paced, high growth environment

 

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:

  • 1-3 years’ experience in a high-volume data entry role
  • Experience with HRIS systems is preferred; experience with SAP SuccessFactors is ideal
  • Diploma or certificate in Business Administration, Human Resources or other relevant discipline preferred, but not required
