Aurora is looking for a Contracts Coordinator to join our Capital Procurement team. Reporting to the Global Director, Capital Procurement, the Contract Coordinator’s focus will be to ensure consistent management of all proposals and contracts. This generally includes oversight of the contract management process, as well as development of specific standards for bidding and submission, as well as document management. The contract coordinator’s role in the contract development process requires close collaboration with the designated buyer and project manager as well as key stakeholders. 



  • Responsible for ensuring highest level of integrity and confidentiality of the procurement process and proper adherence to Aurora procurement policies and procedures 

  • Engage relevant stakeholders in negotiation decisions involving legal or regulatory requirements and contract standards.  

  • Manages contract process, supports selection recommendations and recommends contract strategies. 

  • Prepare procurement contract guidelines for procurement staff 

  • Ensure that contracts and proposals are properly entered into organizational databases and securely maintained. 

  • Contribute to the develop of standards for contracts, including general language and provisions.  

  • Prepares, reviews and submits weekly / monthly reports to the Director of Capital Procurement 

  • Coordinate/liaison with projects directors 

  • Reviews RFQs/RFPs to ensure scope, vendor qualification, language, scope of services  

  • Ensure that purchases are based on competitive bidding and sufficient number of responsive quotations/proposals. 

  • Provides support, advice and assistance when needed in procurement of services, supplies, equipment for the projects 

  • Reviews all Aurora tendering and procurement processes in international offices ensuring strict compliance with Aurora policies and procedures 

  • Manage procurement contract database and provide procurement reports and statistics 

  • Monitors vendors/subcontractors’ performance. 

  • Ensures completeness of contract files. 

  • Any other procurement/contracts related duties as requested 

  • Provide support, and assistance when needed in the procurement of services, supplies and equipment for projects. 

  • Review all Aurora tendering processes at International Offices, ensuring strict compliance with Aurora policies and procedures. 



  • Proven problem-solving ability, detailed orientation and effective inter-personal skills 

  • Computer proficiency in general office software applications (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook). 

  • Strong written &oral communications 

  • Can work under pressure. Good analytical and quantitative skills. 

  • Strong numerical and analytic skills and can think in a very logical way 

  • Ability to work both independently and in a team. 

  • Ability to work productively with little supervision.
