DATA ADMINISTRATOR

Reporting to Operational Support Specialist, the Data Administrator will be responsible for all data entry and shared responsibility of daily production tracking audits for the manufacturing department. 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform all data entry related tasks including sorting, proofing, updating, Production Batch Record (PBR)
  • Complete Production Tracking with great accuracy 
  • Audit and correct production tracking daily in Sage.
  • Compile, sort, verify and correct data to be entered into PBR.
  • Complete review of PBR, Packaging run record, Labeling run record data for completeness and accuracy.
  • Work collaboratively with Quality Assurance and other relevant stakeholders to address data inconsistencies and to gather missing data.
  • Manage filing and routing of source documents after entry.
  • Maintain records of work completed.
  • Update data in appropriate databases in accurate and timely manner to avoid backlogging.
  • Enter and update files into Excel spreadsheets
  • Perform audits on documentation.

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: 

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word and Excel
  • Experience working with ERP programs such as Sage
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with multiple departments and stakeholders

 

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION: 

  • High School Diploma
  • Education and experience in an administrative role would be considered an asset
  • 1-year experience in a data entry role

 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT: 

  • Some routine office environment – limited physical effort, variety of typical office requirements such as sitting, standing and walking.
  • Occasional exposure to manufacturing environment. May require some specialized training and or use of PPE.
