Location: Edmonton, AB



Reporting to the Lead Cultivator is responsible for supporting the facility with data collection/analysis and reporting.  Responsibilities including, but not limited to, the following:



  • Maintaining managing data input & errors, troubleshooting, reporting
  • Data collection and entry (DDC app).  Some responsibilities:
    Flower room transfer event, flower room transfer layout, clone/veg/flower/harvest date with counts, clone rooting success, flower room success, taking light intensity measurement every other cycle, taking climate measurements, selecting mother plants and taking media samples
  • Statistical analysis
  • Creating potency reports as results become available
  • Project design, planning, documentation, reporting (on-site and corporate), and recommendations for cultivation continuous improvement and trials
  • Collecting data for current projects.  Some responsibilities: taking additional set of climate measurements, light intensity, morphology, photos, taking A&B comparison of dried flower and potency
  • Multifactorial analysis of cultivation factors and the impact they have on potency and quality
  • Analyzing lab results for all batches - entering data, analyzing and making graphics
  • Working with other sites collaborating/comparing practices between sites for performance/practice alignment
  • Nutritional graphics for recipe optimization
  • Priva trend collection and reporting
  • Routine plant tissue sampling
  • Examining the cannabinoid contents by using In-house testing methods
  • Support cultivation/facility operations
  • Liase with the science cultivation teams
  • Maintain paper and electronic documentation in accordance with regulatory and company requirements



  • Physical effort is required, lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 30 lbs.
  • Temperatures range from 20 degrees Celsius to 32 degrees Celsius
  • Able to perform cleaning and crop maintenance duties while working on a step ladder
  • Ability to work weekends, holidays and after hours as required
  • Repetitive use of hands, wrists and forearms
  • This position involves significant exposure to cannabis/plant materials, and it is therefore not likely suitable for an employee that may suffer from allergies to cannabis/plant pollen material, or experience other medical issues, such as asthma and hay fever, as a result of cannabis/plant material exposure



  • 1-2 years’ experience in a Data Collection
  • Experience with R statistical software is desirable
  • Must comply with standards that are dictated by regulatory bodies.
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively with operations and all stakeholders for successful project completion
  • Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Project, and Outlook)
  • Strong work ethic, highly motivated and enjoys a challenge
  • Detail conscious and result oriented
  • High level of professionalism, integrity and ethics
  • Willing and able to learn new skills and concepts quickly
  • Enjoys a multi-faceted and dynamic work environment
  • Able to prioritize and be flexible, while maintaining efficiency
