Facility Cleaning Manager, Sky


Reporting to the General Manager of Sky, the Facility Cleaning Manager will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:



  • Oversee GACP and GMP Cleaning Leads and indirect reports to ensure company standards are being met
  • Handles performance management and goal setting for direct reports and indirect reports
  • Able to delegate tasks as required and handle issues as they arise with respect to workflows as well as people management
  • Completes audits on a regular basis and supports sanitation and materials organization for each site
  • Responsible for developing and implementing cleaning programs
  • Responsible for ordering and setting up operational equipment
  • Ability to manage a diverse and growing team of individuals
  • Warehousing operations and coordination of receiving of certain items needed for facility and coordinating storage in facility
  • Use various computer applications to enable efficient planning and scheduling
  • Ensure work meets Aurora GMP/SOP requirements and quality standards
  • Communicate on a regular basis with the General Manager of Sky to ensure company goals are met
  • Comply with all safety policies and procedures relating to performance of tasks, use of products or supplies and incident reporting



  • High school diploma
  • 8 years cleaning experience
  • Minimum 5 years commercial cleaning experience
  • 5+ years in a supervisory role
  • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
  • Familiarity with MSDS
  • Ability to think strategically and problem solve
  • Ability to multitask in a rapidly changing environment
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Time management skills; organized and detail oriented
  • Effective team player and leader; approachable and supportive
  • Accountable for results, strives to meet and exceed expectations
  • Team player – ability to work within a team where members depend on each other to get work done.
  • Self-starter; able to identify work that needs to be done and do it without being instructed to do so.
  • Desire to learn, seek new challenges and take on additional responsibilities
