Aurora Cannabis is looking for a Manager of Physical Integrations and Security to join our Business Integrations team in the fast-paced cannabis industry. Reporting to the Sr. Director of Corporate Security, the successful candidate will work in collaboration with the Sr. Director of Corporate Security to ensure development and implementation of strategies and programs to provide for the protection of personnel, facilities and assets; while maximizing asset recovery and providing deterrence through investigation of criminal activity.




  • Engage in project planning of security initiatives and procedures from conception, design and development that include implementation and review processes
  • Manages all emergency plans and operations to ensure an appropriate level of confidentiality, integrity, availability, safety, privacy and recovery of information assets
  • Consults with Sr, Director Corporate Security and IS Team to establish short and long-term security objectives for respective facilities and corporate offices
  • Oversee security installation projects, contract security force, and all security related vendor contracts
  • Conduct and lead security audits upon completion of new install projects that are timely and comprehensive.
  • Establish and build relationships with external business partners and internal stakeholders within Aurora Cannabis Inc. and its subsidiaries, as well as law enforcement agencies through frequent communication and networking to ensure facilitation of timely and accurate information




  • Knowledge of current protective and threat assessment techniques and practices
  • Ability to lead multiple priorities and projects that are sensitive and confidential in nature by exercising a high degree of interpersonal astuteness with the ability to effectively interact with a diverse work force
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly adapt; maintain focus and a high degree of accuracy while working with complex data in an environment of ever-changing deadlines, priorities and requirements
  • Proven ability to respond to and lead emergency situations
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Expert knowledge of business intelligence and analytics
  • Strong understanding of IT principles and how they apply to physical security installations and design.




  • 5-7 years of progressive Corporate Security experience, including physical security and risk management
  • Experience in a large corporate environment with at least 5 years in a management
  • A professional security management certification such as a Certified Protection Professional (PSP) or Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), or other similar credentials is beneficial or the ability to achieve within 2 years of hire.
  • Experience with projects involving multi-disciplinary teams operating in a fast-paced, innovation driven environment
  • Law enforcement experience is an asset
  • Knowledge of the emerging cannabis industry would be an asset
  • Leadership training (leadership behaviors, team building, negotiating etc.) is an asset
