The Post Production Trimmer will be responsible for the manual hand trimming of Cannabis  and/or operating trimming equipment.





Safety is the First Priority !!

Monday – Friday 7:30 AM – 4 PM (subject to change based on production requirements)


·         Harvest and pre-/ post-processing of cannabis

·         Disease inspection (disease and pest identification)

·         Operate an automated trimming machine (sitting or standing)

·         Quick and efficient manual trimming of cannabis using shears.

·         Understand and follow all related SOPs and procedures to GMP standards

·         Complete all required documentation using good documentation practices

·         Communicate any issues with Supervisor

·         Sufficiently clean and sterilize all equipment and rooms post-harvest

·         Assist other departments as necessary






  • High School or equivalent
  • Must have a minimum of 1 year labour experience
  •  Must have a minimum of 1 year experience as a team member
  • Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment is considered an asset
  • Experience working with/ trimming Cannabis is considered an asset
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to stand and/or sit for long periods
  • Ability to do repetitive tasks with good hand-eye coordination
  • This position involves significant exposure to cannabis/plant materials, and it is therefore not likely suitable for an employee that may suffer from allergies to cannabis/plant pollen material, or experience other medical issues, such as asthma and hay fever, as a result of cannabis/plant material exposure.
  • Excellent communications and ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to multi-task and utilize time management skills
  • Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs
  • Comfortable working with chemical products (required to wear a respiratory mask for protection)
  • Comfortable working inside in various temperature conditions (hot and cold)
  • Must be able to use simple and basic hand tools.
  • Comfortable working in noisy conditions (required to wear appropriately rated hearing protection devices, as provided).
  • Comfortable following all safety protocols and procedures, including wearing a respiratory mask, hearing protection and safety eye coverings.
