Aurora Cannabis Inc. is currently looking for a PROJECT MANAGER, SCIENCE to work with Research & Development team in Nisku, AB, in the fast-paced cannabis industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that new research and development projects are delivered on schedule and on budget.



  • Managing business integrations
  • Plan, execute, and monitor a variety of projects throughout their lifecycle to ensure that they are completed on budget and on schedule
  • Liaise with cross-functional project stakeholders to collect requirements and maintain effective communication
  • Provide leadership to the project team and work with team members to achieve common objectives
  • Oversee and coordinate the development of new product lines ensuring that innovative products are introduced to market in a timely manner
  • Work closely with technology development team to prioritize new features, plan and execute upcoming sprints
  • Develop and implement effective reporting to keep project stakeholders and senior management informed on key project metrics



·       Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Project, and Outlook)

·       Ability to successfully manage small and large budgets

·        Bachelor’s degree in plant science or a related discipline

·        Minimum of 3+ years of experience in managing large-scale research and/or early product development projects

·        Experience managing projects involving multi-disciplinary teams operating in a fast-paced, innovation driven environment

·        PMP designation or equivalent certification would be considered an asset

·        Knowledge of the emerging cannabis industry would be considered an asset
