QUALITY ASSURANCE LABEL COORDINATOR, SKY
Aurora Cannabis Inc. is currently recruiting for a Quality Assurance Label Coordinator to join our
team. The successful candidate will be required to have some flexibility in their schedule to meet
the needs of the facility. The incumbent will report directly to the Quality Assurance Associate at
Sky, and will be responsible for the following:
 

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Represent QA as an ambassador for regulatory compliance with respect to GMP and company SOPs
• Participate in self-inspection process
• Ensure all primary and secondary packaging generated comply to Cannabis Regulation specifications
• Work closely with the Label Coordinator and Quality Control to ensure all third-party laboratory results are reviewed and product information is verified prior to ordering labels and secondary packaging
• Complete initial primary and secondary packaging reviews and approvals
• Perform Master Label Approval and Master Secondary Packaging approval
• Work closely with QA Auditors to perform and oversee in-process inspections and verifications of labels
• Complete secondary documentation review for labelling runs and all required follow-up
• Generation, implementation and continuous improvement of quality procedures in regard to the labelling, primary packaging, and secondary packaging processes
• Assist in drafting and writing SOPs that comply with the Cannabis Regulations and GMP
• Assist with the tracking of metrics around compliance and efficiency and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
• Participate in both internal and external audits as required
 

REQUIREMENTS:
• 1-2 years' experience in the Quality Assurance field
• B.Sc. degree or diploma in a science-related field
• Experience working in a regulated environment, pharmaceuticals, or natural health product manufacturing environment is preferred
• Understanding of Quality Management Systems including: batch record review, batch release, document control, change control, deviations, investigations and CAPA
• Fluency in MS Office is required
• Competency of technological writing (SOPs, Annual Reports, Investigation Summary)
• Ability to work independently, with a strong attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and adapt to an evolving environment with changing priorities
• Effective verbal and written communication in English
