MANUFACTURING LEAD HAND, SKY

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure all processes are followed according to prescribed SOPs while also identifying opportunities to improve efficiencies

• Understand, follow, and revise as necessary all SOPs and related forms to GMP standards

• Ensure all required documentation is completed by all responsible parties using good documentation practices

• Follow strict cleaning practices and procedures

• Supervise and train the Bulk Packaging Associates

• Continuous monitoring temperature and humidity in the Drying Room

• Properly maintain batch records and log books

• Bulk packaging cannabis into 1 kg bags

• Remove a 200 g composite sample during bulk packaging run (150 g for retained sample) and send 50 g to a lab for quality control testing

• Clean drying racks and room on a regular basis

• Coordinate and communicate with staff managing the electronic inventory software

• Coordinate with Quality Assurance, Quality Control, and/or Production Departments as required

• Great attention to detail is necessary during daily inspections for disease and microbial (disease and pest identification)

• Move pre- and post-processed cannabis between production departments in a sanitary fashion

• Prepare large shipments of cannabis for transport to various locations off site

• Understand and follow all related SOPs and procedures to GMP standards

• Complete all required documentation using good documentation practices Attend and participate in meetings as required

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school or equivalent

• Past experience in general labour, manufacturing or warehouse an asset

• Must have experience managing/supervising staff

• Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task

• Excellent communication and problem solving skills

• Excellent time management, leadership and interpersonal skills

• Exceptional attention to detail

• Stand or sit for long periods

• Excellent eye-hand coordination

• Provide instruction and direction to reporting staff on detailed processes

• Strong team leader and work positively in a team environment

• Ability to speak and write in English is considered an asset

• Bilingualism is considered an asset
