Reporting to the Project Manager, the Project Coordinator is responsible for assisting the project team with various tasks and responsibilities including, but not limited to, the following:




  • Provide project support and coordination for all aspects of clinical research projects and clinical trials including: logistics, compliance, monitoring, etc.
  • Develop project plans, track progress, ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget, and report on the status of projects
  • Make recommendations regarding project scope changes, issues, and risk mitigation
  • Assist with project policies and procedures, and manage data and file compilation
  • Work collaboratively with project team members, and liaise with internal and external stakeholders to follow up on important actions to maintain effective communication




  • Bachelor’s degree in biomedical science or a related discipline. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience successfully coordinating large-scale clinical research projects and/or clinical trials involving multi-disciplinary teams operating in a fast-paced, innovation driven environment
  • Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Project, and Outlook)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to prioritize and be flexible, while maintaining efficiency
  • Detail conscious and result oriented
  • High level of professionalism, integrity and ethics
  • Willing and able to learn new skills and concepts quickly
  • Knowledge of online survey tools would be considered an asset
  • Knowledge of the emerging cannabis industry would be considered an asset
