Reporting to the Director of Manufacturing, East, the Manufacturing Engineer Manager  will lead continuous process improvement initiatives to improve safety, quality, productivity, reliability, customer service and regulatory compliance at our Bradford Facility


The manufacturing engineer will work in cross functional teams, leading projects across the facility with the goal to improve quality, productivity and ensuring projects remain on time, budget and compliant with all regulations.



  • Work closely with manufacturing leadership to analyzing and identify continuous improvement projects, lead projects through change control and validation processes.
  • Coordinate projects with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality Assurance and Health and Safety
  • Lead investigations for downtime, deviations and product failures.  Recommend and implement corrective and preventative actions
  • Author Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), recommend preventative maintenance plans, update SOPs and PM plans as required
  • Act as a Subject matter Expert supporting manufacturing equipment and processes
  • Ensure that all work is performed in full compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
  • Coordinate the installation and commissioning and qualifications (IOQ) for new and existing equipment
  • With supervision develop project plans, budget and timelines, ensure project meet expectations as outlined in the project plan
  • Identify and coordinate technical training requirements for equipment
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned




  • Demonstrated ability to work in cross functional teams, coordinating projects
  • Ability to work within a team environment both as team member and as a team leader
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational, time management, and project management skills. 
  • Strong data analysis, numeracy and problem solving skills
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft office, (excel, word, powerpoint)
  • Excellent written and spoken English communication skills
  • Accountable for results, strives to meet and exceed expectations



  • Post-secondary degree in Engineering, Sciences and project management experience in a manufacturing environment
  • 5+ years of experience leading projects, documenting change controls, IOQ and other validation documentation, preparing SOPs and PM plans
