SUPPLY CHAIN ANALYST

 

Reporting to the Manager, Supply Chain, the Supply Chain Analyst role will be an integral part of the Continuous Improvement team, focusing on providing analytical support to large scale supply chain implementations. It will use project management expertise to drive end-to-end assignments from gathering requirements to implementation. It also entails working and communicating with multiple internal stakeholders as well as with external retailers. The candidate will be a key contributor to the Supply Chain team.

 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Ensure order compliance on deliveries, develop contingencies and support issue resolution on short orders or missed deliveries.
  • Perform analysis of a variety of supply chain data sets to measure performance, identify trends and discover optimization opportunities
  • Budgetary analysis and forecasting
  • Track movement of goods between sites
  • Work closely with the internal teams to understand supply and inventory levels.
  • Monitor warehouse inventory to ensure replenishment
  • Become corporate "super user" of the ERP system specifically in logistics aspects while working with various departments to assist in determining potential impacts

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or related discipline
  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in a supply chain
  • Excellent organizational, planning and communication skills
  • Experience with SAGE and SAP considered an asset
  • Knowledge of ERP & WMS systems
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent understanding of logistics processes and procedures in a facility environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Superior Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills
  • Strong team player with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, and deadlines
  • Ability to apply knowledge of multidisciplinary business principles and practices to achieve successful outcomes in cross-functional projects and activities
