We’re searching for an ambitious leader to plant their roots with us as our newest Head of Lifecycle Marketing and E-Commerce. In this role, you will report into the Senior Vice-President, Medical and lead the development and execution of an integrated E-Commerce, Lifecycle, and Demand Generation marketing strategy for our medical cannabis channel. You will manage a diverse portfolio inclusive of website operations, reporting, and automation platforms to drive customer acquisition and retention and open the world to cannabis. Sound exciting? As the Head of Lifecycle Marketing and E-Commerce your portfolio will be... 

 

Lifecycle Marketing:

  • Work with the Product Strategy and Customer Analytics team to develop an actionable segmentation model that drives customer strategy
  • Partner with IT to integrate and configure CRM, Data Warehouse, E-Commerce and other required platforms to support lead scoring, nurture campaign automation and segment-driven online experiences
  • Develop CRM and automation-driven acquisition, engagement, and retention nurture campaigns inclusive of messaging, offers and design that resonate with target segments
  • Liaise with the Director, Medical Affairs and the Director, Regulatory Affairs to develop content and information strategies that support awareness, acquisition, and overall efforts to grow the market 
  • Oversee planning and launch of ongoing Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Search Engine Marketing (SEM), social media other relevant awareness strategies leveraging internal and external agency partners
  • Build and own a marketing calendar along with supporting resource and budget allocation
  • Develop a purchase incentive strategy to create urgency and grow spend leveraging merchandise giveaways, discounts, and other targeted offers  
  • Oversee brand and product activations that support our network of clinic partners and grow overall market awareness about Aurora
     

E-Commerce: 

  • Implement UX research methodologies to predict user behavior, optimize web-site layouts, improve functionality, and tailor the user’s omnichannel experience
  • Own front-end Web governance, ensuring content, product merchandising, key functionality, layout and overall U/X are monitored and maintained daily 
  • Instill a test culture while leveraging channel performance and customer KPI’s to drive planning, investment, and continuous optimization
     

Leadership:

  • Mentor, support and engage a team of high performing professionals to deliver best in class solutions for our patients and customers

     

You will be setup for success if you have…

  • 10 + years working in business and digital transformational projects with diverse experience leveraging acquisition and retargeting efforts
  • 5 + years leading high performing marketing, e-commerce or digital teams
  • Post-secondary education in a related field such as Business Administration or Marketing (we would also welcome an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience)
  • Prior work experience in a regulated environment within distinct creative boundaries
  • Robust e-commerce knowledge within a variety of areas including but not limited to SEO, SEM, project and technology management (U/X design, CMS, Online Marketplaces and CRMS), social paid ads, GA4, Tag Manager and Studio
  • Marketing expertise including developing data-driven customer marketing and digital campaigns that resonate with target segments and working with external creative agencies

  • An MBA with prior work experience in B2B or B2C with D2C
