Job Summary

The Inventory Analyst reports to the Senior Manager, Supply Chain and is responsible for supporting the extraction and analysis of inventory movements, preparing routine inventory reports for management, and supporting inventory accuracy initiatives across multiple sites within Aurora.

 

As an Inventory Analyst, you will…

 

  • Manage cycle count program at site level
  • Complete monthly reconciliation of inventory and investigate all outages
  • Meet regularly with accounting and operations to communicate root causes of discrepancies, possible solutions, and suggest process improvements
  • Review and apply inventory adjustments, including inter-site transfers, and receipt of inventory across multiple sites
  • Analyze, understand & correct causes of inventory transaction variances
  • Ensure WIP inventory is accurately tracked and transferred through the production system
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end working papers for the facility and financial reports and assist with year-end audits and reviews
  • Support with the preparation of ad-hoc reports for operational managers to improve efficiency
  • Liaison for 3rd party fulfillment/warehousing operations and corporate departments
  • Other special projects / duties as required
     

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

•    Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills; and highly detail oriented
•    Advanced proficiency in Excel, Microsoft Office, Power Query, Power BI
•    Excellent interpersonal and communications skills with ability to work with cross-functional teams
•    Strong planning and organizational skills and ability to contribute to and support multiple projects in a high paced performance environment
•    Strong organizational skills, high attention to detail, ability to multi-task and ability to exercise independent judgment
•    Flexibility to assist with various tasks within the finance and inventory environment
•    There may be occasional requirements to visit manufacturing site 

 

Education

•    Bachelor’s degree complete or in process or equivalent industry experience
