We’re searching for a dynamic and resilient professional (like you) to join our team as our newest Manager, Quality Projects. In this role, you will report directly into the Senior Manager, Quality Projects and be responsible for leading, managing, and executing quality projects to drive strategic initiatives and improve the cannabis experience for our patients and consumers. As the Manager, Quality Projects you will…

  • Lead and manage the delivery of key quality projects to support implementation of the global quality strategy, plans for quality improvement and organization learning to strengthen and report on Quality KPIs
  • Execute continuous improvement initiatives that impact the KPIs including, but not limited to, initiatives for training and procedural harmonization
  • Facilitate all aspects of the project life cycle including identifying project scopes, evaluating objectives, developing, and managing timelines, liaising with stakeholders, mitigating and resolving risks, supporting implementation, and evaluating impact 
  • Partner with other functional areas to establish and cultivate the Quality Culture at the sites and participate in various quality risk management initiatives
  • Maintain on-site presence at the facility level when required to support teams throughout the projects for successful project execution as required
  • Work cross-functionally with with relevant stakeholders to ensure understanding and ownership of deliverables
  • Manage and resolve any issues that may arise between deliverables, projects or functional groups
  • Participate in Quality risk management initiatives
  • Partner with other functional areas to establish and cultivate the Quality Culture at the production facilities
     

As an experienced professional you will have…

  • Post-secondary education, such as a Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma, in Engineering, Science or a related field
  • 3 + years of experience in an operational environment, preferably in the pharmaceutical or consumer-packaged goods industry
  • 3 + years of experience in a product/project management or leadership role 
  • Knowledge and experience in Quality Management Systems and proficiency with all MS Office products including Word, Outlook, Excel and Teams
     

Bonus points if you have…

  • PMP Designation or a LEAN six-sigma certification
  • Previous experience using ERP systems and electronic batch record systems
