Manager, Master Data Management

Aurora Cannabis Enterprises Inc is currently looking for a Manager, Master Data Management. Reporting to the EVP Information Technology you will look to build and lead a Master Data Management (MDM) program which enables Aurora Cannabis to effectively leverage enterprise data assets to drive revenues, promote innovation, and reduce costs. The Manager, Master Data Management will lead the development, documentation, reporting, implementation, and global governance through various applications including ERP.  Standardized processes and procedures will also be an important mandate for this role.

 

As a Manager, Master Data Management you will be responsible to:

  • Establishes and manages the MDM Program for the maintenance and integrity of the organization's master data.
  • Collaborates with key stakeholders across the business and IT to develop a roadmap for the MDM program, managing the strategic and technical needs of all stakeholders and projects at Aurora.
  • Works with leaders of functional teams across the organization to improve the design and flow of Master and Reference data across teams.
  • Establishes and documents data governance policies, processes, and guidelines, working together with business teams to nurture a culture of accountability for complete and accurate data.
  • Engages a cross-functional and cross-departmental team to build an MDM center of excellence.
  • Leads, manages, coaches, develops, and evaluates direct reports.
  • Engages and coordinates with external contractors and consultants, as needed, to build and enhance the MDM program and platforms.

 

You’re the ideal candidate if you have…:

  • Minimum 7 – 9 years of job-related experience
  • Bachelor's Degree or a diploma in Computer Science, Finance, or related Business experience
  • Deep knowledge and experience with Master Data Management tools, processes, and policies
  • Experience with other Data Governance tools and processes is an asset, including Data Quality, Data Cataloging, Glossary, and Lineage management
  • 5+ years of Data Management experience at the enterprise level, within an ERP.
  • Experience with cloud-based solutions, data management warehouse solutions platform is considered an asset
  • 3+ years of direct people management and leading delivery through others
