As the Senior Financial Analyst you will:
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecast relating to the Supply Chain function of the business.
- Preparation of the Supply Chain financial forecast, including OPEX and headcount budgeting.
- Provide monthly variance reporting to budget owners to monitor and evaluate performance against strategic initiatives.
- Take ownership in ensuring appropriate accounting coding has been applied to the correct budget owners to ensure appropriate management reporting is communicated.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of budgets and forecasts for cultivation and production facilities.
- Prepare and analyze operations metrics and KPIs monthly and help present them to stakeholders including but not limited to
- Standard cost variance analysis,
- Budget to actual cost variance analysis,
- Historical trend & variance analysis,
- Maintaining a dashboard.
- Ad-hoc requests to support the operations business; Finance support to internal clients as needed.
- Assist with financial month-end close, which includes but not limited to accrual preparation, reclassifications, internal control requirements, etc.
- Assist in gathering and preparing inputs for the SKU level Standard Cost model.
- Accurate and insightful financial analysis contributing to operational decision-making.
- Timely and accurate reporting of operational financial data.
- Effective collaboration with operational teams to drive financial performance improvements
- Regular travel to River and Ridge facilities is required to support and partner closely with the Operations team.
- Act as the on-site Finance subject matter expert for Operations, providing real-time financial guidance, analysis, and decision support.
- Maintain a visible, in-person presence at the facilities to strengthen cross-functional collaboration, operational understanding, and financial accountability.

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field.
- Three to five years of progressive experience in financial analysis, operations finance, supply chain finance or manufacturing finance.
- Direct experience supporting operations, production, supply chain or multi site business units is preferred.
- Familiarity with standard costing, product costing and manufacturing cost flows is strongly beneficial.
- Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite or Microsoft Dynamics.
- Exposure to budgeting cycles, monthly close processes, financial reporting and management review packages.
- Experience working with operational data, production metrics or cost variance analysis.
- Background in data analytics or experience using business intelligence tools such as Power BI or Tableau is an asset.
- Prior involvement in forecasting models, scenario analysis or long range planning is advantageous.
- Experience in industries with inventory driven cost structures such as manufacturing, consumer goods, agriculture or distribution is a strong asset.
- Certification or progression toward professional designations such as CPA, CFA or CMA is preferred but not required.
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple priorities and delivering high quality work in fast paced environments.

- Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, cost accounting and operational finance concepts.
- Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, long range planning and financial modeling techniques.
- Advanced Excel capability including complex formulas, modeling structures, scenario analysis and data automation.
- Experience with KPI development, operational performance measurement and dashboard reporting.
- Ability to interpret large data sets and identify actionable trends that support operational decisions.
- Familiarity with business intelligence tools such as Power BI or Tableau, along with a foundational understanding of data visualization best practices.
- Comfortable working with ERP systems and capable of extracting and validating operational and financial data.
- Strong analytical judgment that enables clear interpretation of cost drivers, production variances and operational metrics.
- Ability to translate financial insights into clear recommendations for non financial stakeholders.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to prepare concise presentations and analyses.
- Effective cross functional collaboration skills with the ability to influence decisions and build strong working relationships with operations and supply chain leaders.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple deadlines.
- Problem solving mindset that includes the ability to troubleshoot data issues, resolve discrepancies and recommend improvements.
- Commitment to continuous improvement with an interest in process optimization, data quality enhancement and reporting efficiencies.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail, especially when working with high volume or complex data.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining alignment with broader team objectives.
- Adaptability and comfort working in a fast paced and evolving operational environment.
- Familiarity with supply chain concepts such as procurement, logistics, planning, manufacturing processes and inventory management.
- Understanding of internal controls, audit requirements and documentation standards related to financial processes.
- Professionalism, confidentiality and sound judgment when handling sensitive financial information.
