Manufacturing Assistant

Aurora Cannabis Inc. is currently recruiting for individuals to join our Aurora Prairie team in Saskatoon SK. Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for:


Primary Responsibilities

  • Processing plant material
  • Record keeping and data collection
  • Perform daily routine job duties such as cleaning and sterilizing equipment and the facility
  • Adhere to standard operating procedures while following GMP guidelines
  • Secondary packaging of material
  • Working in a safe manner and respecting all safety guidelines

 

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma
  • Technical Training in Biological Science will be considered an asset.
  • Basic computer skills-excel data entry etc.
  • Lab background, understanding of equipment and troubleshooting is an asset.
  • Previous manufacturing experience considered an asset
  • Must be available to work required shifts including weekends
  • Strong attention to detail over long time frames
  • Must be adaptable and be open to change
  • Must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment

 

Shift times:

  • 7:00am to 5:30pm (4x10hour shifts per week including weekends)

 

This position can be physically demanding at times and requires good physical fitness with the ability to lift over 20lbs, perform some overhead lifting and tolerate long sessions with repetitive hand manipulations. The company intends to fully train the right people to fill these positions and is seeking individuals who possess a strong desire to learn and want to be a part of a dynamic growing organization. Incumbents will be required to complete a general screening medical form upon hire

 

This work is performed in a Bio Secure facility. This employee is required to shower into the facility at the beginning of his/her shift and remain in the building for the duration of the shift.
