Production Supervisor, BC Northern Lights (BCNL)


Aurora Cannabis Inc. is currently looking for a Production Supervisor, BCNL, to work with our device and appliance teams in the fast-paced cannabis industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising the day to day production operations of the warehouse and ensuring that new device and appliance projects are delivered on schedule and on budget.




  • Plan, execute, and monitor a variety of production projects throughout their lifecycle to ensure that they are completed on budget and on schedule
  • Maintain efficiency and oversee throughput while ensuring quality
  • Liaise with the General Manager, BCNL and ensure effective production reporting
  • Liaise with cross-functional project stakeholders to collect requirements and maintain effective communication
  • Ensure that Health and Safety regulations are adhered to
  • Assist with planning of equipment layout and flow of materials
  • Consult with vendors and both internal and external customers to determine requirements for products
  • Examine materials and production costs to determine manufacturing requirements
  • Work with other specialists such as mechanical engineers to evaluate whether the design concepts will fill a need at a reasonable cost
  • Evaluate product safety, appearance, and function to determine if a production plan is practical




  • Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Project, and Outlook)
  • Knowledge of QuickBooks would be considered an asset
  • Strong work ethic, highly motivated and enjoys a challenge

  • Bachelor’s degree or related work experience in product manufacturing
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in managing production processes and/or projects
  • Experience managing production involving multi-disciplinary teams operating in a fast-paced, innovation driven environment
  • Electrical and/or Circuitry Knowledge would be considered an asset
  • Forklift experience and First Aid would be considered an asset
  • Knowledge of the emerging cannabis industry would be considered an asset
