As a key member of the Category Management Team, you will help design and execute strategic plans and tactics to achieve our financial objectives. You will be responsible for supporting in all flower & pre roll category initiatives – assortment, pricing, innovation strategy, and overall P&L ownership. This role can be based out of Toronto or Vancouver. 



  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (including Sales, Marketing, Finance, Product Development, and Insights & Analytics) to develop strategies to grow Aurora’s categories
  • Develop business cases and go-to-market plans leveraging consumer-insights & financial projections for innovations that support our brand and category plans
  • Be a highly visible and integral team member, working directly with Aurora’s management team to support growth objectives
  • Analyze and build tools to assist in the on-going analysis of complex data, to identify consumer and business insights to enable decision making
  • The successful candidate must be able to assess market share, in-market product performance, competitive price positioning, market category trends, portfolio products, revenue, and margin mix
  • Innovate, explore, and test new ideas in an environment where creativity and experimentation are highly encouraged



  • University degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or related field
  • 2-4 years of work experience in a Category Management, Sales, Analytics, or Innovation role
    • Cannabis & CPG industry experience is considered an asset
  • Experience in analytics, consumer insights, and forecasting
  • Passion for consumer insights and understanding market dynamics
  • Strong financial acumen and the ability to assess and build category P&L statements, and measure product profitability
  • Superior knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint is essential
    • PowerBI experience is an asset
  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
  • Superior communication and business case skills that will enable you to influence internal and external decision makers
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly adapt; maintain focus and a high degree of accuracy while working with complex data in an environment of ever-changing deadlines, priorities, and requirements
  • An agile mindset with a passion for problem-solving, enabling you to strategically tackle challenging situations in a complex and dynamic business environment
