                                               BRAND MANAGER


Reporting directly to the Senior Director of Brand, the Brand Manager, will be responsible for developing Aurora’s overarching international medical marketing strategy for all medical brands through the use of marketing platforms and in all relevant geographies.



  • Lead and inspire marketing teams to design and build the best cannabis brands in the world
  • Inspire unified creativity among all internal/external stakeholders and build on a culture of creativity, inclusion, performance and achievement
  • Support product development strategies and execution of new brands and products to the medical market
  • Liaise with internal divisions to identify and optimize incremental revenue opportunities tied to medical marketing initiatives
  • Ensure that all campaign assets meet regulatory compliance standards
  • Partners with market research team to conduct qualitative and quantitative positioning, creative, and media studies
  • Develop strong partnerships with local health care providers to further increase brand awareness
  • Analyze and track results techniques to report campaign results, making recommendations and determining success of the strategy
  • Ensure a world and industry leading presence around social responsibility and compliance
  • Closely work and collaborate with local offices to support market activities including licensing, promotions, pricing, costing, profitability analysis, and stakeholder engagement
  • Other duties as required



  • In depth understanding of product marketing for medical cannabis clients and cannabis culture
  • Experience working within a multinational organization
  • Experience marketing in highly regulated industries
  • Strong digital marketing experience including proven hands-on success in email marketing, content development, and using market segmentation to drive results
  • Strong analytical and project management skills
  • Ability to create and execute integrated marketing strategies across various geographies
  • Experience working in foreign markets is an asset
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Understands medical marketing in highly regulated frameworks and how to differentiate product and brand to drive market share within these frameworks
  • Ability to independently manage multiple projects and internal clients with changing priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic, deadline-driven, high stakes environment
  • Ability to work with senior management and partner with business leaders and department peers



  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field; preference will be given to applicants with a Master’s Degree
  • A minimum of 5+ years’ experience in marketing, brand/portfolio management, sales and/or strategy business experience, preferably in manufacturing or pharmaceutical industries
