DIGITAL MARKETING COORDINATOR

 

We are presently recruiting for a dynamic go-getter for the role of Digital Marketing Coordinator. This full-time position is based in the Toronto office and reports into the Director of Digital Marketing.

 

MAIN DIGITAL MARKETING COORDINATOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in the intake, planning and execution of a range of digital marketing initiatives with internal teams and agency partners, including but not to be limited to, social media, content production, campaigns, website updates and email marketing
  • Create project timeline and resourcing plans for digital and cross-functional programs
  • Coordinate product backlog and feature requests for current digital platforms, managing approvals from stakeholders and booking resources for execution
  • Coordinate social content approvals across stakeholder groups
  • Assist in administrative tracking of projects and approvals as required
  • Analyze and report on performance metrics and insights
  • Proactively recommend digital improvements based on insights
  • Monitor and respond to consumer comments, questions, and feedback in a timely, professional manner across social platforms
  • Manage social media and digital activity calendars
  • Engage in daily social listening to monitor industry news, trends, competitor activity, and our brands
  • Monitor always-on campaigns with the ability to analyze performance and turn into actionable insights
  • Manage project schedules for digital paid media and content programs
  • Participate in social strategy planning including, but not limited to channel planning, content planning, resourcing, playbooks, community management guidelines
  • Assist in defining, optimizing, communicating and coordinating process and procedures that contribute to effective collaboration and streamlined execution
  • Assist in the intake, planning and execution of a range of email marketing initiatives with internal teams and agency partners, including but not to be limited to email development, email deployment, gathering approvals, reporting and other tasks related to email marketing
  • Building emails – both from templates and new builds
  • Analyze and report on performance metrics and insights for email activity
  • Manage email marketing calendar, schedule deployments and reinforce timelines for delivery
  • Other duties as required

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Knowledge of emerging cannabis industry an asset
  • Demonstrated project management expertise across a range of digital project types
  • Demonstrated strategic planning, organizational and administrative skills
  • A love for social media, with experience across multiple platforms
  • Ability to manage complex tasks and projects with competing deadlines concurrently
  • Adaptable and flexible to a changing environment
  • Excellent literacy, editing and proofing skills with the ability to communicate with a range of stakeholders
  • Passionate about providing excellent consumer experiences from resolving consumer issues to engaging with consumers in unique ways
  • Strong relationship builder who can collaborate with internal teams to consistently improve processes and communication workflows
  • Ability to speak French is an asset

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • 3+ years of experience in a similar marketing or agency position
  • Knowledge within cannabis industry or another regulated industry is an asset
  • Project management experience an asset
  • Community management experience an asset
