We are presently recruiting for a data and results driven individual for the role of Digital Strategist. This full-time position is based in the Toronto office and reports into the Director of Digital Marketing.




  • Map consumer and digital journeys to identify digital touch-point recommendations within go-to market plans.
  • Manage custom digital dashboards for sites, apps, social and paid digital media programs as well as active daily monitoring of industry and consumer insights.
  • Prepare reports and implement effective action plans to optimize paid and earned digital initiatives.
  • Identify appropriate tactics and channels to drive consumer acquisition and engagement across range of business units and brands.  
  • Collaborate on setting effective measurement, test and evaluation plans for digital programs.
  • Drive digital marketing data, tagging and analytics strategy, ensuring integration across marketing and data platforms.
  • Develop effective strategies for A/B testing, segmentation, personalization and automation in relation to content, landing pages, ad units and email marketing.
  • Research and communicate emerging digital and consumer trends that can be applied proactively to our marketing plans.
  • Create strategic briefs for creative and execution teams based on strong digital and consumer insights.
  • Contribute to 360 planning initiatives, preparing and presenting digital content, comms and platform strategies.
  • Provide digital solutions to complex business problems, leveraging data to drive recommendations and results.
  • Consult on digital architecture, product features and backlog.
  • Manage strategic digital media and partnership initiatives as required.
  • Map digital activities against key consumer targets to address the unique needs of range of audiences and brands.
  • Assist in defining, optimizing, and coordinating new processes and procedures that contribute to effective collaboration and streamlined execution.





  • Knowledge of emerging cannabis industry an asset.
  • Deep expertise in digital analytics.
  • Google Analytics certified/Google Adwords certified.
  • Experience with wide range of marketing technology and data platforms.
  • Demonstrated experience working across a range of programs, including but not limited to; social, search, email marketing, owned platforms, search and display.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive business results through insights and strategy.
  • Ability to manage complex tasks and projects with competing deadlines concurrently.
  • Ability to gain internal respect and build consensus from superiors, peers and subordinates.
  • Experience with marketing automation, DMPs and personalization projects.
  • Adaptable and flexible to a changing environment.
  • Excellent literacy, editing and proofing skills with the ability to communicate with a range of stakeholders.




  • 5+ years of experience in a similar marketing or agency position.
  • Knowledge within cannabis industry or another regulated industry is an asset.
