We are presently recruiting for a Manager, Social Media within our marketing team. The Manager will play an integral role in driving forward best in class experiences for our patients and customers across our social media platforms. They will work closely with our brand team, creative team, and agencies to deliver strong and relevant campaigns.


  • Development of clear social platform content and engagement strategies that deliver against brand objectives
  • Responsible for ensuring posting and community management best practices and escalation framework are frequently updated and followed effectively
  • Create strategic briefs for execution teams with solid communication and business objectives based on strong digital and consumer insights
  • Reporting on website and social media health, including growth, engagement, and e-commerce metrics using social media management tool software and Google Analytics
  • Participate in routine brainstorming sessions and creative alignment meetings to deliver strong and relevant social media content
  • Provide feedback to creative team to meet communication and business objectives
  • On occasion, write content and develop assets for use on social media channels and website
  • Social listening and monitoring all social channels 
  • Ensuring compliance with federal, provincial and municipal regulations, from a social media perspective
  • Managing stakeholder approvals with brand, production, legal and regulatory teams
  • Oversee timelines and production schedules
  • Identify social content collaboration opportunities and foster a strong network of online content contributors 
  • Manage paid social initiatives with internal stakeholders and external partners
  • Optimize social measurement framework and ensure all activities tie strategically back to KPIs
  • Stay on top of industry and social platform trends, keeping the broader team aware of emerging challenges and opportunities
  • Foster a high performing and highly engaged team responsible for day to day management of our social platforms



  • Bachelor’s degree in a Marketing-related field
  • 5+ years’ experience in social media, editorial and/or content driven environment, agency or brand environment
  • Thorough understanding of social media and digital analytics
  • A strong leader, who is adaptable to change and capable of managing a team within an evolving industry
  • Experience with always-on content planning and campaign planning
  • Knowledge of paid social media tactics, targeting capabilities and promotional execution
  • Experience in a regulated environment such as pharmaceuticals is an asset
  • Significant experience communicating in multi-stakeholder environments
  • Ability to effectively tailor messaging to target different audiences
  • Exceptional attention to detail including well-developed analytical skills and strategic thinking
  • Bilingualism is an asset
