Reporting to the Director of Strategy, the Manager, Strategy is a critical part of our team and will be key contributor responsible for research, analysis and developing insights and strategies that will address significant issues / opportunities —you will be an expert at financial analysis, wide varieties of research, and market dynamics while working on a wide range of case types.

  • Support the corporate strategy in identifying the right strategic priorities to grow profitably and maximize shareholder value, while offering support and practical solutions to achieve these objectives
  • Support Aurora Cannabis’ business growth through our retail channel, retail partnerships and focus on the customer
  • Work collaboratively with all functions within the organization to collaboratively build data-driven insights and strategies




  • Proven technical and analytical capabilities including financial and business performance analysis skills;
  • Ability to work cross functionally to create shareholder value with clear plans for implementation;  
  • Contribute to business growth by identifying and prioritizing potential business opportunities
  • Proactive approach in seeking feedback to enhance the quality of your work;
  • Background or interest in business and clear leadership potential;
  • Strong communicator with great team skills;
  • Superior communication (verbal and written), presentation and report writing skills;

  • Undergraduate or MBA
  • 4-6+ total years of progressive work experience in strategy, related business analysis, functional line experience with Marketing, Finance, Operations, or Sales analytics with a history of demonstrated business success
  • Management consulting experience preferred
  • Superior interpersonal and leadership skills
  • A commercial mind with an ability to challenge
  • Capacity to think pragmatically about strategic issues
  • Outstanding stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Strong analytic and project planning skills
  • High personal resilience and drive for success in a fast-paced environment
