Reporting to the Vice President, Commercial Strategy, the Manager, Strategy is a critical part of our team and will be key contributor responsible for research, analysis and developing insights and strategies that will address significant issues / opportunities —you will be an expert at financial analysis, wide varieties of research, and market dynamics while working on a wide range of case types.

  • Support the strategic priorities to grow profitably and maximize shareholder value, while offering support and practical solutions to achieve these objectives
  • Lead and support any special projects under the Executive team
  • Manage cross-functional teams to assess, prioritize, and execute action plans and projects against key growth opportunities including partnerships, innovation, channel   
  • Assist in the performance measurement of the corporate KPIs including helping build the materials for the various business reviews  
  • Support any other reporting needs including Board reports
  • Working closely with Insights lead to monitor consumer behaviour and identify any key trends or
  • Working closely with Sales Analytics to monitor share and sales data to identify any key trends or risks
  • Support the annual business and strategic planning process with support from key-cross functional teams
  • Provide frequent updates on macro trends impacting the market
  • Innovative thinking and build forward thinking solutions
  • Ability to identify emerging opportunities, define consumer insights, foresee future trends, and complete assessments on consumer behavior
  • Support Aurora Cannabis’ business growth through our retail channel, retail partnerships and focus on the customer
  • Work collaboratively with all functions within the organization to collaboratively build data-driven insights and strategies

  • Undergraduate or MBA
  • 4-6+ total years of progressive work experience in a strategy, business improvement or operational excellence role
  • Management consulting experience preferred
  • Superior experience in analyzing disparate data and making data driven decisions
  • A commercial mind with an ability to challenge
  • Capacity to think pragmatically about strategic issues
  • Outstanding stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Strong analytic and project planning skills
  • High personal resilience and drive for success in a fast-paced environment
