The Market Research Analyst will Provide support to senior team members on all aspects of the research as required - working with internal partners to scope out business objectives and clear problem statements, translate objectives into research plans, configuring the optimal research (experimental) design, lead the development of questionnaires/ discussion guides to address business problems, and building compelling presentations and data driven stories for key stakeholders including senior/executive level internal clients



  • Monitor project schedule and update senior team members on progress
  • Oversee and coordinate research methodology, questionnaire design & writing, analysis and interpretation of results through to preparation of reports
  • Review programmed surveys for logic and accuracy
  • Coordinate research projects and overseeing data tabs and coding
  • Monitor and review quality of data to ensure sample and quota criteria are met
  • Preparation of reports while ensuring research objectives are delivered on
  • Communicate and provide project status updates to team
  • Effectively maintain customer panel to complement existing research initiatives


  • MUST be able to work in a very fast-paced environment and multi-task projects
  • Possesses strong analytical and interpretive skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills; Ability to design creative and visual reports and presentations to effectively communication results and findings from data and insights projects/initiatives
  • Ability to generate meaningful insight from raw data and summarize into findings
  • Create actionable and executable insight that will impact business goals and KPIs
  • Qualitative research methodology experience with IDI's, focus group moderation, ethnographic research, etc.
  • Possesses an inquisitive mind-set continually looking to create efficiencies



  • Minimum of 3+ years professional experience in consumer insights, marketing research; client and supplier experience considered an asset
  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce/ Business, Marketing, Sciences or equivalent degree - advanced degree or MBA is considered an asset.
  • Experience in a broad range of research approaches, leveraging online panels, brand research, product research
  • Experience in highly regulated environment such as pharma health and wellness, alcohol, lottery & gaming, tobacco considered an asset
  • Exceptional attention to detail including well-developed analytical skills and strategic thinking
  • Must be able to work independently and stay organized to manage multiple priorities
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a proven ability to build relationships internally and externally, at all levels within an organization
  • Experience with SPSS is desirable.  Advanced Excel and PPT required.
  • Experience with the Qualtrics platform is an asset
