The Marketing Coordinator, Packaging, ensures successful planning, tracking and project execution in support of Aurora’s existing, and growing product portfolio. Within a strictly regulated and dynamic market environment, the successful candidate will act as a key point of contact within the marketing team. They will cross-functionally coordinate the efficient and effective execution of new and existing product labels and packaging.



  • Act as a gate keeper for incoming requests/briefs
  • Review packaging briefs and coordinate action items for internal stakeholders and external agency partners
  • Apply project management expertise, methodologies and standards to manage launches and packaging lifecycle changes for multiple product lines
  • Management of multiple packaging timelines for various product launches both domestic and international
  • Provide clear communication of approvals and changes to all key stakeholders
  • Coordinate packaging proofs and change requests with key stakeholders
  • Assist Marketing, Sales, QA, Regulatory Affairs, and Product Development in necessary artwork changes and approvals per product
  • Coordinate with the Brand team and Senior Creative Designer on finding solutions pertaining to packaging and labelling
  • Develop, maintain track, and manage high quality, integrated project plans to enable accurate reporting and decision making
  • Accurately track, and populate weekly packaging status reports to manage critical path and key project risks
  • Ensure internal and external teams adhere to established process and project deliverables
  • Ensure brand consistency across all packaging and affiliated marketing projects
  • Prioritize activities effectively across multiple products and launches to ensure best use of time
  • Challenge status quo with continuous improvement and efficiency in mind
  • Leverage strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain positive working relationships with key stakeholders
  • Support related duties as needed within the Brand Marketing team



  • Minimum of 2+ years working in CPG or related packaging field
  • Knowledge of design, print and production process
  • provide insight and solutions to overall packaging process
  • strong time management skills
  • Strong understanding of labelling and packaging execution from end to end
  • Understanding of Canadian Cannabis Regulations, pertaining to product/packaging and promotions
  • Comprehensive understanding of Canadian Packaging and Labelling Act
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Solution oriented with a positive approach
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail, problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills with the ability to balance multiple competing demands
  • Agility and ability to pivot easily
  • Food + nutrition labelling knowledge a plus
  • Foundational knowledge of InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop considered a plus
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft office
