SENIOR ANALYST-MEDICAL MARKETS

 

Reporting to the Director, Sales Analytics, this Senior Analyst role will appeal to an outstanding technical analyst and problem solver who thrives in a collaborative, fast-changing environment. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Supports data driven decision-making by gathering key information and building reports that effectively communicate complex topics to a variety of audiences
  • Routinely analyzes sales, patient and other performance data to identify emerging trends and strategic opportunities
  • Provide subject matter expertise within the department and to business partners on available data sources and the appropriate methodology for conducting analysis
  • Assists with the research and analysis of key business opportunities in both domestic and foreign markets
  • Develop in-depth relationships with business functional heads to prepare analyses such as budgets and business forecasts
  • Develops briefing notes and presentations for management including recommendations on key issues
  • Leads, participates and facilitates meetings and working group sessions with various stakeholders
  • Monitor KPIs, identify and highlight trends and perform variance analysis
  • Study national and global markets and monitor economic trends to help support business decisions
  • Liaise with all relevant stakeholders to build out robust project plans to drive the entire lifecycle of both strategic and operational projects
  • Coordinate all necessary resources to ensure timely delivery of projects
  • Develop and implement effective reporting to keep project stakeholders and senior management informed on key project metrics

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

 

  • Undergraduate degree in business, statistics, analytics or related discipline
  • Combined 4 – 6 years of related experience in an analyst role with progressing responsibilities with a focus on revenue, marketing, customer, pricing analytics
  • Broad knowledge and understanding of data processes, sales processes and business intelligence concepts, including but not limited to maintenance management, customer service, records management, policies and procedures, finance systems and reporting
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly adapt; maintain focus and a high degree of accuracy while working with complex data in an environment of ever-changing deadlines, priorities and requirements
  • Excellent communication skills (oral, written and presentation)
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and collaborate on projects
