SENIOR ANALYST

 

Reporting to the Analytics Manager, Medical Markets, this Senior Analyst role will appeal to an outstanding problem solver who thrives in a collaborative environment. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Supports data driven decision-making by gathering key information and building reports that effectively communicate complex topics to a variety of audiences
  • Routinely analyzes sales, client, and other key data to identify emerging trends and strategic opportunities
  • Provide subject matter expertise within the department and to business partners on available data sources and the appropriate methodology for conducting analysis
  • Assists with the research and analysis of key business opportunities in both domestic and foreign markets
  • Develop in-depth relationships with business functional heads to prepare analyses such as budgets and business forecasts
  • Develops briefing notes and presentations for management including recommendations on key issues
  • Leads, participates and facilitates meetings and working group sessions with various stakeholders
  • Monitor KPIs, identify and highlight trends and perform variance analysis
  • Study national and global markets and monitor economic trends to help support business decisions
  • Liaise with all relevant stakeholders to build out robust project plans to drive the entire lifecycle of both strategic and operational projects
  • Coordinate all necessary resources to ensure timely delivery of projects
  • Develop and implement effective reporting to keep project stakeholders and senior management informed on key project metrics
  • Additional projects under the direction of the Director, Sales Analytics and Senior Vice President of Market Development

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

 

  • Undergraduate degree in Business or related discipline, and four years related experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
  • 1-3 years’ experience managing corporate projects
  • PMP designation or equivalent certification is considered an asset
  • Broad knowledge and excellent understanding of a range of business intelligence concepts and common business functions and practices, including but not limited to maintenance management, customer service, records management, policies and procedures, finance systems and reporting
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly adapt; maintain focus and a high degree of accuracy while working with complex data in an environment of ever-changing deadlines, priorities and requirements
  • Excellent communication skills (oral, written and presentation)
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and collaborate on projects
