Job Summary
The Lead Product Manager, IT Commercial is responsible for leading the strategy development and execution of the company’s core commercial technology platforms in alignment with the platform vision set by the Director of IT Commercials. This role plays a critical leadership function in translating vision into actionable roadmaps, driving platform modernization, and ensuring successful delivery of initiatives that enable commercial growth.
The Lead Product Manager will oversee day-to-day digital product strategy and execution for platforms including Global Ecommerce Platform, CRM, Marketing Technology, and other commercial applications. Working closely with business stakeholders, technology teams, and external partners, this role ensures platforms are scalable, modern, and optimized to support customer engagement, revenue growth, and operational efficiency across global markets. As the Lead Product Manager you will:
- Partner closely with the Director of IT Commercials to share and execute platform strategy in accordance with the established vision and commercial priorities.
- Translate platform vision and business objectives into clear, prioritized product roadmaps and delivery plans.
- Identify opportunities for platform modernization, capability enhancements, and technology optimization to support growth and scale.
- Lead the end-to-end execution of initiatives across the Global Ecommerce Platform, CRM, Marketing Technology, and other IT Commercial Platforms.
- Own the product backlog, including requirements definition, prioritization, and sequencing of work based on value and impact.
- Work with architecture, development, UX/UI design, data, and integration teams to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions.
- Ensure alignment between business requirements, technical design, and delivery outcomes.
- Act as the primary product delivery lead and point of contact for business stakeholders across Commercial, Marketing, Sales, and other business teams.
- Facilitate alignment, manage expectations, and communicate progress, risks, and trade-offs clearly and proactively.
- Manage external vendors and system integrators to ensure delivery quality, timelines, and value realization.
- Define and track success metrics and KPIs in partnership with business and IT leadership (e.g. revenue impact, conversion, engagement, platform stability).
- Use data and insights to inform prioritization, optimize platform capabilities, and improve customer outcomes.
You would be the best fit for this role if you have…
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline.
- 8+ years of experience in production management, digital platforms, or technology delivery roles.
- Product Management certifications preferred: Scrum Product Owner, SAFe, etc.
- Proven experience executing complex ecommerce, CRM, and/or marketing technology initiatives in an enterprise or global environment.
- Strong ability to translate strategic vision into executable plans and measurable outcomes.
- Experience working with modern digital architectures: Cloud, APIs, microservices, composable platforms.
- Background in consumer goods or commercial digital environments.
- Experience partnering closely with senior IT and business leaders in a matrixed organization.

- Strong ability to translate executive vision and commercial strategy into actionable product roadmaps and delivery plans
- Deep understanding of product management principles, including backlog management, prioritization frameworks, and value-based delivery.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to understand revenue drivers, customer journeys, and growth levers.
- Ability to manage dependencies, risks, and delivery constraints across multiple teams and vendors.
- Proven ability to design and deliver platform capabilities that improve customer experience, conversion, engagement, and retention.
- Data-driven mindset with experience using insights, analytics, and KPIs to inform product decisions and measure outcomes.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and delivery leadership skills.
- Experience working in Waterfall, Agile, or hybrid delivery methods.
- Knowledge of leading ecommerce platforms: Shopify Plus, Salesforce Commerce, CommerceTools, etc.
- Knowledge of CRM, Customer Data Platform, and MarTech ecosystems: Salesforce, HubSpot, Klaviyo, etc.
- Ability to balance short-term business needs with long-term platform scalability and technical sustainability.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environments with competing priorities.
