Job Summary
The Manager, Enterprise Architecture and Integration is responsible for leading the definition, governance, and execution of enterprise architecture and integration strategies that support organizational objectives and long-term technology direction at Aurora. This role provides oversight across application, data, integration, and cloud architecture domains and ensures that technology solutions are designed, implemented, and maintained in alignment with enterprise standards, security requirements, and regulatory obligations.
The position works closely with IT senior leadership, business stakeholders and cross-functional technology teams to translate business capabilities and strategic priorities into current-state and future-state architecture roadmaps. The Manager is accountable for guiding architecture and integration teams, establishing architectural governance processes, and ensuring consistency, scalability, resilience, and operational readiness of enterprise solutions.
This role plays a key part in evaluating existing systems and emerging technologies, supporting modernization initiatives, and reducing technical debt through informed architectural decisions. The Manager also provides technical leadership across the solution lifecycle, including design review, implementation oversight, and post-implementation evaluation, while ensuring integrations and platforms effectively support business operations and growth.

As the Manager, Enterprise Architecture and Integration
- Work with IT Senior Leadership to build a technology roadmap for the organization
- Provide leadership and direction to IT architecture and integration resources to carry out the technical vision for the organization
- Utilize a variety of partners to assist with the design and architecture of complex business solutions
- Analyze existing systems to ensure they offer adequate security and are effectively meeting the needs of the organization
- Perform analysis of IT systems and recommend alternative technologies or improvements to enhance information systems to support organizational goals
- Lead the design and review processes for new systems by developing and documenting technical designs for the integration and implementation of any new software
- Create detailed plans for the integration of new systems architecture into existing infrastructure by creating logistical plans, providing technical direction and support for the Operational areas during the integration
- Participate in evaluating the success of the project, identifying best practices and lessons learned and providing feedback to leadership and incorporate this information into future plans
- Ensure solutions not only are a fit for the specific purpose but also closely align with the standards guidelines of technology solutions
- Assist with troubleshooting and resolving a wide range of technical related problems and additional responsibilities as assigned
You would be the best fit for this role if you have…
- 7 to 10 + years of experience in an Architecture role working on large enterprise solutions
- 5 + years’ experience managing teams in large enterprise environments
- Post-secondary education, such as a Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma, in computer science or related field
- Strong technical experience designing, navigating, and deploying solutions using Microsoft stack, D365, Power Platform, Mulesoft, and cloud platforms (Azure and AWS) and making recommendations in large organizations
- Knowledge of client-server networking and database management and SOX, GDPR, PCI-DSS, NIST, and PII
- Prior leadership experience managing global remote teams with strong relationship building skills
- Robust communication skills with ability to connect with all levels of the organization and manage multiple priorities at once in a fast-paced dynamic
- Project management experience supporting IT specific initiatives and a certification in one or more of the following (asset): • TOGAF
- • CISSP
- • Azure Solutions architect
- • AWS Practitioner
- • D365 + Power Platform Solution Architec
Bonus points if you have…
- Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks, integration patterns, and best practices in large-scale enterprise environments.
- In-depth understanding of cloud-based architectures, including hybrid and multi-cloud environments, with emphasis on Microsoft Azure and AWS.
- Knowledge of enterprise application ecosystems including Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power Platform, and middleware platforms such as MuleSoft.
- Solid understanding of information security principles, risk management, and regulatory compliance standards including SOX, GDPR, PCI-DSS, NIST, and PII.
- Working knowledge of client-server architecture, APIs, data integration, and database management concepts.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage, mentor, and develop high-performing architecture and integration teams.
- Strong architectural design and analytical skills with the ability to translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and sustainable technical solutions.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, including the ability to collaborate with executive leadership, business partners, vendors, and technical teams.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Effective project and program management skills, including planning, prioritization, risk management, and delivery of IT initiatives.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to evaluate alternative technologies and recommend optimal solutions.
- Ability to define and execute long-term enterprise architecture and integration roadmaps aligned with organizational strategy.
- Ability to lead architectural governance, ensuring solutions adhere to enterprise standards, security requirements, and best practices.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Ability to support and guide teams across global and remote environments while fostering collaboration and accountability.
- Ability to adapt to evolving technologies, business needs, and organizational change.
