JOB SUMMARY

We’re looking for an experienced professional to join our Supply Planning division in the role of Project Lead. You will act as a functional lead for the development and implementation of a planning tool (Maestro by Kinaxis). During your time you will also support the supply planning groups (scheduling and planning) by assisting with regular activities/tasks.

 

In this role you will…

 

  • Supporting the supply planning teams with day-to-day planning activities.

  • Collaborate with the project team to design and implement the planning tool.

  • Validate data & functionality for areas under Supply Planning and Finite Scheduling.

  • Gather and input data into source systems.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document supply planning requirements through SOP's.

  • Understand business process flows and possible nuances.

  • Maintain thorough documentation of project plans, workflows, and processes.

  • Analyze current processes and identify areas for improvement while staying in scope of the planning tool.

  • Ensure integration with existing systems are effective through testing and quality assurance.

  • Develop and implement change management strategies to ensure user adoption.

  • Communicate changes effectively to all stakeholders involved.

  • Providing training and support to users on any new processes or tools.

 

You're the ideal candidate if you have...

 

  • A strong understanding of supply planning processes and best practices.

  • Familiarity with using and implementing planning tools and software.

  • Understanding of the S&OP process and the interdependencies between planning functions.

  • Knowledge of data relationships and connectivity's between data tables.

  • Strong in data analysis and manipulation using Excel with large-scale data sets.

  • Organizational skills to handle multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.

  • Problem-solving skills to address challenges during project execution.

  • Proficiency in identifying project risks and implementing mitigation strategies.

  • Ability to remain flexible and adapt to changing project requirements.

  • Capable of effectively communicating with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Understanding of the Agile methodology for project management.

  • CPG, pharmaceutical, food or similar manufacturing experience.

  • 5 years of experience - supply planning, forecasting, system implementation or related field.

  • Bachelor’s Degree/Advanced Diploma with Supply Chain Management focus or related field.
