As the Senior Manager, Global Business Development , you will...

  • Be the primary operational point of contact and build long-term relationships with international distributors, partners/subs and field sales personnel.
  • Engage with clients and local team members to drive to achieve revenue and sales goals.
  • Manage and respond to international partners with respect to product information and pricing to achieve company sales quotas.
  • Collaborate with marketing to maintain and promote the Aurora Brand through international partners.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key partners in target countries.
  • Identify and liaison to develop strategic business opportunities to obtain licenses in foreign markets.
  • Lead and create project work plans to identify and map out activities needed to successful accomplish project goals, deliverables, and meet the project deadline.
  • Work cross functionally to ensure adequate and timely supply of products according to demand plans for each market.
  • Work with local partners and internal stakeholders, develop, and obtain approvals on marketing campaigns, product portfolio plans, pricing strategies including short term promotional campaigns.
  • Coordinate work with internal stakeholders to accomplish specific goals.
  • Ensure timely and successful support according to customer/local team’s needs and objectives.
  • Maintain a good awareness of the competitive and regulatory developments in markets in which the company operates or wants to enter, assist with insights and competitive analysis in the different market, to inform strategy development and formulation.
  • Communicate to internal and external stakeholders to ensure that project and business activities align with company goals.
  • Ensure timely and successful support according to customer needs and objectives.
  • Effectively communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders.
    • Promote and maintain Aurora business while expanding our market share and product mix. 
  • Build monthly sales forecasts and demand plans for each market.
  • Commercial representative for product development.
  • Other duties and special projects as required.

 

As an experienced professional, you will have...

  • Advanced Degree in Law, Business, Engineering, Life Sciences or related fields.
  • Minimum 5 years of sales or international business development and/or relationship management experience.
  • Passionate about sales and business development, with a drive to create partnerships and opportunities in new geographies.
  • Ability to write and speak in Spanish is an asset.
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills.
  • Excellent analytical and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with senior management and other members of the team in a professional and collaborative manner.
  • Ability to manage and motivate teams, work under pressure, and manage tight deadlines (including overtime work, when required).
  • Strong organizational skills, reliable, autonomous and ability to handle multiple responsibilities in order of priority.
  • Prior experience in the regulated global cannabis industry an asset, but not required.
