Job Summary

 

The Senior Network & Cloud Analyst supports the operational management, stability, and continuous improvement of the organization’s network and cloud infrastructure across on-premises, hybrid, and cloud environments. The role is responsible for contributing to the reliability, performance, and security of enterprise connectivity services, including network operations, cloud networking, and secure remote access capabilities.

 

This position provides advanced technical expertise in the delivery and maintenance of network and cloud services and supports infrastructure activities related to lifecycle management, resiliency, and technology optimization. The role participates in the implementation of infrastructure standards, supports performance monitoring and issue resolution, and contributes to initiatives that enhance scalability and service effectiveness.

 

Working in collaboration with cybersecurity, infrastructure, and application teams, the Senior Network & Cloud Analyst helps ensure that network and cloud environments operate in alignment with organizational requirements, governance standards, and risk management practices. The role also supports documentation, operational processes, and infrastructure-related projects within a distributed technology environment.

As the Senior Network & Cloud Analyst you will:

Network Infrastructure

  • Design, configure, and support enterprise network environments including:
  • Juniper switching (EX/QFX series)
  • Aruba wireless (AP 315 and related models)
  • VLANs, routing, QoS, and network segmentation
  • Manage and troubleshoot LAN, WAN, and wireless performance issues
  • Support branch/campus network environments
  • Support network refresh and evergreen initiatives
  • Perform patching and performance tuning
  • Contribute to network architecture planning and lifecycle management
  • Maintain network documentation, standards, and configuration baselines
  • Support capacity planning and proactive performance monitoring
  • Assist in ensuring network resiliency through redundancy and failover design
  • Participate in modernization and optimization of network infrastructure

Firewall, Security & SD-WAN

  • Administer and support Fortinet firewalls (FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer)
  • Configure and maintain SD-WAN architecture for branch connectivity and resiliency
  • Manage secure remote access solutions including Zscaler VPN / ZPA / ZIA
  • Implement firewall policies, NAT, IPS, VPN tunnels, and security best practices
  • Participate in security reviews, audits, and vulnerability remediation
  • Support implementation of secure access and Zero Trust connectivity principles
  • Assist in network-related risk mitigation and control implementation
  • Maintain alignment with cybersecurity policies and regulatory requirement.
  • Support incident response related to network or connectivity disruptions

Cloud Infrastructure (Azure & AWS)

  • Support hybrid cloud environments across Microsoft Azure and AWS
  • Design and manage:
  • VNETs, DNS, subnets, routing tables, NSGs
  • VPN Gateway, Site-to-Site and Point-to-Site connectivity
  • Support cloud networking integration with on-prem infrastructure
  • Assist with cloud cost optimization and capacity planning
  • Support cloud governance and security frameworks
  • Support integration of cloud-native networking and security controls
  • Assist in standardization of cloud networking configurations
  • Participate in disaster recovery and connectivity failover planning
  • Support automation of cloud network provisioning where applicable
  • chain data under the guidance of our cybersecurity team.

 

You would be the best fit for this role if you have…

  • Relevant industry certifications such as ITIL, AZ-700, CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent are considered an asset.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a structured and organized manner.
  • Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience in networking
  • 5+ years of progressive IT experience working in Network & Cloud Infrastructure roles within medium to large distributed environments
  • 5+ years of experience working with Windows Server environments and administering Active Directory, Azure, AWS, and enterprise storage systems
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to contribute to continuous improvement through proactive identification of operational enhancements.
  • Experience supporting network and cloud infrastructure within distributed or global environments.
  • Sound understanding of hybrid network architectures and enterprise connectivity models.
  • Knowledge of network segmentation and secure infrastructure design principles.
  • Familiarity with IT service management practices, including change, incident, and problem management processes.
  • Understanding of high availability, resiliency, and fault-tolerant infrastructure concepts.
  • Experience working within multi-vendor technology environments.

  • Experience administering enterprise networking components including firewalls, routing, load balancing, DNS, VPNs, and monitoring protocols
  • Experience supporting enterprise LAN, WAN, and SD-WAN environments across multi-vendor platforms
  • Experience supporting hybrid cloud networking environments
  • Experience with network monitoring and observability tools
  • Experience with identity-aware networking and secure remote access
  • Experience participating in infrastructure projects, migrations, or modernization initiatives
  • Adapt to changing demands and balance operational responsibilities with project-based work.
  • Ability to assess network performance and interpret operational trends.
  • Knowledge of cloud networking and associated security models.
  • Familiarity with infrastructure automation approaches and configuration management practices.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across technical teams and support cross-functional initiatives.
