The Senior Sales Operations Coordinator ensures the successful and timely delivery of products to clients, while also providing vital support to management. This role effectively handles incoming orders, creates new ones, coordinates logistics, and tracks progress.  As the Senior Sales Operations Coordinator, you will be responsible for:

 

  • Handles daily sales processing with strong attention to detail
  • Enters, reviews and tracks orders
  • Liaises with logistics and warehouse teams to ensure proper order fulfillment
  • Processes order changes, cancelations, or additions
  • Manages investigations on any order and shipping irregularities, including lost or late orders, coordinating heavily with the warehouse and third-party shipping providers
  • Loading of weekly/monthly allocation requests across all channels and tracking
  • Realtime delivery management and adjustment protocols (prioritization)
  • Data management of CRM and Sage
  • Profit/Margin provincial analysis
  • Management of the Item Master/GTIN/Labels and their updates
  • Report Generation – Allocation/PO/Deliveries/Adjustments/Perfect Order tracking
  • Posts and codes sales invoices
  • Pulls required sales reports for review and analysis
  • Maintain Customer Details
  • Provide weekly progress updates on all open orders to management team.
  • Respond and resolve issues in a timely fashion, and ensures the team and clients are up-to-date on progress.
  • Ad hoc duties as required
  • Management of weekly inventory for allocation purposes
  • Act as an integral partner to the sales team by identifying and clearly defining the key category and customer opportunities/risks that help shape strategies and sales tactics
  • Assist in the creation of sales orders for the bulk and export channels as needed
  • Support on-going national reporting and analysis to/for Senior Leadership
  • Inventory management to minimize and avoid any product returns from the various provincial partners
  • Collaboration with supply planning and operations to have the most efficient flow of manufactured goods from our facilities to our customers
  • Tracking and reporting on sales penetration and velocities of Aurora’s portfolio to manage sku’s performance and identify gaps and opportunities to increase distribution and rate of sale
  • Collaboration with sales team to align on national distribution targets for new and current skus on a monthly and quarterly basis to ensure Aurora is meeting their sales objectives
  • Understanding of the Canadian retail landscape to support with strategic decision making to maximize distribution and revenue through key accounts and independence
  • Development of robust national distribution reporting to hold sales and marketing accountable and to track KPI progress
  • Ability to develop distribution insights and presentations for sales management and field sales teams
  • Develop sales forecasts based on historical data, market trends, and sales targets.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to adjust forecasts as needed.
  • Assist in developing and implementing sales strategies.
  • Provide analytical support for pricing, promotions, and product launches
  • Identify areas for process improvement in the sales and distribution workflow.
  • Implement solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Work closely with sales, external partners, marketing, logistics, and supply chain teams
  • Coordinate with IT teams for data management and reporting tools

 

You’re the ideal candidate if you have…

 

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in sales operations and related activities, with a solid understanding of how these functions interact with other systems and teams.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (especially Excel) & BI; working knowledge in ERP systems is preferred
