BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE COORDINATOR, BI & ANALYTICS

 

Reporting to the Director, Business Intelligence & Analytics (BI&A), this position will be responsible for assisting the BI&A department with various tasks and responsibilities including, but not limited to, the following:

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist the department in the planning of all aspects of a BI and analytics project including the coordination of: initial requirement gathering, progress tracking and project status/issue reporting.
  • Effectively coordinate all BI and analytics related requests intake, daily triage, documentation and reporting process.
  • Effectively liaise with the business stakeholders to clarify requirements and maintain effective communication of relevant project information. Ensure business requirement documents, technical specifications such as data model mapping are saved, organized, and version controlled.
  • Effectively manage the project administrative documents such as schedule calendars, resource vacation planner etc. for fulfilling the goal and objective of BI&A projects.
  • Ensure projects adhere to budgets. Monitor and report costs for all BI&A projects including consultant fees and invoices.
  • Effectively collect the inputs from all members in the department, and compile the draft weekly status reports.
  • Document and monitor the project issues, risks and actions.
  • Perform administrative duties associated with department’s day-to-day operations, including department meetings, project meetings, daily scrums, etc.
  • Organize and prepare necessary presentation materials. Set up business stakeholders’ meetings. Take meeting notes.
  • Ensure all projects and tasks are documented appropriately, follow up on important actions and decisions from meetings.
  • Assist team members with ad hoc analysis projects as needed.
  • Perform administrator’s duty for the SharePoint site for reports.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Solid experience in project coordination or business analysis, information management or related field.
  • Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment and Scrum.
  • Experience using project management and ticketing software such as JIRA.
  • Experience with SharePoint 365 administration and managing user access.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, large workloads and multitask effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with clients and stakeholders for successful project completion.
  • Demonstrated willingness to be adaptable and flexible, with the ability to handle ambiguity and changing priorities.
  • Familiarity with business intelligence methodologies
  • Competency in Microsoft Applications such as Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Highly detail conscious and result oriented
  • High level of professionalism, with strong work ethics and integrity
  • Enjoys a multi-faceted and dynamic work environment
