Reporting to the Manager, Custom Applications, the DevOps Analyst will be responsible for the deployment of applications and services for the Software Engineering team, manage and implement processes that ensure maximum uptime and availability, and proactively report and identify problem areas.


  • Responsible for the delivery and release of software through various test stages and into production.
  • Develop and maintain deployment processes, testing and reporting mechanisms that help identify areas of improvement and monitor service metrics.
  • Troubleshoot and solve problems related to our mission critical services and provide solutions to proactively prevent problems from happening.
  • Work with development team to support changing needs in development, test and production environments



  • Excellent knowledge of and industry experience with continuous deployment using Jenkins or similar technologies.
  • Experience with AWS cloud services including EC2, S3, Load Balancer, VPC, Lambda, CloudFront, Route53, AWS Permission policy.
  • Experience with Containerization tool such Docker, Kubernetes, AWS ECS
  • Experience with Monitor tools such as NewRelic
  • Experience with Linux system and comfortable writing Bash Script.
  • Deploying projects in a variety of languages ranging from Node.js, PHP and Java.
  • Experience with infrastructure automation tools like Terraform or Ansible.
  • Experience setting up and working with both SQL and NoSQL databases (Mongo Cloud an asset)
  • Ability to think strategically, problem solve and make quick decisions
  • Ability to multitask in a rapidly changing environment
  • Experience working and scheduling releases with remote teams beneficial.



  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in computer science, computer engineering or related technical discipline or equivalent industry experience
  • 3-5 years development operations experience.
